Mapping Services

“I love maps.” We hear this phrase all the time. Maps have an innate appeal to the greater population. Perhaps it is the sense of confidence and security that comes with understanding where you are or how to reach a destination.

At Hedberg Maps, we have a passion for fine mapmaking. In addition to our line of maps available in the retail marketplace, we provide custom mapping services to satisfy a broad range of needs.

Our services include: Creating unique custom maps, custom branding our existing maps (with or without modifications to the map), and licensing our mapping artwork for print or electronic publishing.

  • Custom clients have included:
  • TIAA-CREF (NY)
  • National Baseball Hall of Fame (NY)
  • Cambridge Office for Tourism (MA)
  • Harvard Square Business Association (MA)
  • Minneapolis Downtown Council (MN)
  • CB Richard Ellis (MN)
  • Edina Realty (MN)
  • United Properties (MN)
  • Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (NJ)
  • Berkeley Pathways (CA)
  • Northeast Arts Association (MN)
  • MIT Entrepreneurship Center (MA)
  • Handmade Tile Association (MN)
  • Greater New Haven CVB (CT)
  • Carleton College (MN)
  • Princeton Future (NJ)

Our public face is our Professor Pathfinder and other for-sale titles, but we produce a variety of products for other clients too.

Many of our existing maps and map bases have been adapted into new publications for clients, selecting areas of coverage and types of map data that meet their specific needs.

Our existing titles can be reprinted as-is with custom covers or headers, for a cost well below that of a fully customized map.

A few custom titles have been designed and printed as stand-alone publications, made from scratch for other publishers. On occasion, we have engaged in co-publishing agreements, but prefer to work on a contract basis.

Finally, we have licensing arrangements to use portions of our maps on the web or as in-house handouts. With a simple set of questions, we can help you legally and inexpensively use our mapping.
